Feb. 26, 2009

DAYTON, Ohio --

Airline boarding is down nationwide due to getting hit by the rough economy and companies are slashing fares in order to fill seats.

AirTran recently slashed fares and many others followed.

One way from Dayton to Miami is $89, from Dayton to Los Angeles is $70 and from Dayton to Boston is $59.

Brenda Lawson, Triple A office manager, said, “These fares are amazing and now is the time to travel.”

“There are rules associated with the fares, but travelers can find deals they have not seen in several years,” Lawson said.
