Kennedy International Airport, offering travelers the convenience of daily nonstop flights to the island through September 8 , with additional flights on weekends throughout the season.

To celebrate JetBlue's return to the island, the award-winning airline is offering a low fare of $79(a) each way for midweek travel on nonstop flights between New York and Nantucket . JetBlue also offers easy connections between Nantucket and dozens of other cities from coast to coast including Washington , Charlotte , Palm Beach , Chicago , Denver , Seattle , Los Angeles ( Burbank , LAX - starting June 17 - and Long Beach airports), and San Francisco ( Oakland , SFO, and San Jose airports).

Travel costs $15 more per person if purchased by telephone, or at an airport or city ticket office. Fares require up to a 10-day advance purchase. Travel must take place between June 2, 2009 and September 9, 2009 . Travel must be completed by September 9, 2009 . Travel must take place on Tuesday and/or Wednesday. Fares may not be available on all days or on all flights. All fares must be purchased at time of reservation, and are one-way, nonrefundable, and nontransferable.
