TSA Awards Contract for Information Technology Infrastructure
WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced it has awarded its Information Technology Infrastructure Program (ITIP) contract to CSC, of Falls Church, Va. The contract award is valued at approximately $493 million for the five year life cycle of the contract.

The ITIP contract ensures TSA staff has computing and communications hardware, software and services. In addition, it protects the network from cyber threats and is flexible in order to accommodate changes in demand for information technology capabilities.
The ITIP contract will allow for the design, maintenance and enhancement of TSA's information technology capabilities. CSC will provide support to TSA facilities around the world, including airports, mission critical centers and international support centers.

TSA selected CSC through a competitive contracting process. The award was competed among contractors on the DHS-wide Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) contract.
