Allegiant Offers New Route To Kansas

Valley residents can now fly nonstop from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport to Wichita, Kan., starting Nov. 20 thanks to Allegiant Air's new route.

Flights to and from Wichita will be offered on Mondays and Fridays, with flights departing Wichita at 12:25 p.m. local time and arriving in Phoenix at 1:45 p.m. local time.

Flights departing from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway will depart at 8:35 a.m. local time and arrive in Wichita at 11:45 a.m. local time.

Allegiant will use 150-seat MD-80 aircraft to service the route, according to a news release from the company.

To celebrate its new route, Allegiant is offering $60 one-way introductory fares for people who book their flights by Oct. 21. After the promotion is over, regular one-way fares will start at about $80.
