Southwest Airlines Opens March Schedule and Adds Flights in Key Markets

DALLAS, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Southwest Airlines today announced that the carrier is opening its schedule for travel beginning March 14, 2010, through May 7, 2010. Through the continuation of the airline's flight optimization exercise, Southwest is adding 62 roundtrip flights and eliminating 10 roundtrip flights for a net gain of 52 roundtrip flights, or 104 one-way flights systemwide. The March schedule reflects seasonal travel patterns where demand increases during the Spring.
