STAMFORD, Conn., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PSSR) announced today that US Airways has contracted for PASSUR's arrival management system, RightETA(TM), to further enhance hub reliability, improve the customer experience, and reduce operational costs.

"Our studies show that the PASSUR 'Estimated On' arrival time results are consistently and considerably more accurate than other sources. Combined with US Airways' developed taxi-in time prediction algorithms, PASSUR provides ETA improvements with a magnitude that allows us to make improvements in our service and financial goals," said Brad Beakley, vice president operations control and planning for US Airways. "The PASSUR ETA integration into US Airways' systems will help deliver fundamental advances in operational reliability."

"US Airways has rigorous technology selection criteria, with a disciplined focus on measurable results directly tied to their investment -- we're very pleased to have been selected to help US Airways' operations," said Jim Barry, president and CEO of PASSUR Aerospace.

The PASSUR Airline Productivity Program

Airlines managing complex flight operations need timely, accurate, and independent information about the status and performance of the airspace and individual flights. The PASSUR Airline Productivity Program enhances the level of accuracy, predictive capability, dependability and analytics offered by traditional flight tracking and airspace management practices. These new capabilities help airline performance in areas of chronic, expensive operational challenges, such as diversions, Traffic Management Initiatives/Ground Delay Programs, and congested ground operations. The PASSUR Airline Productivity Program provides alerts, decision support, analysis and collaborative tools to prevent or optimize many of these conditions, in support of a more efficient, cost-effective and customer-friendly operation.

PASSUR RightETA(TM), a component of the PASSUR Arrival Management Solution, is one of a suite of information and software subscription products provided to airlines. It has been demonstrated to be the most accurate ETA available in the market, powering airline systems such as gate management, scheduling, passenger flight information, and baggage management. The PASSUR ETA is derived from algorithms which are fed by multiple data sources in real time, including flight position information from the network of PASSUR radar systems installed throughout the country. It is calculated by tracking multiple real-time metrics of the target flight as well as other nearby aircraft in the surrounding airspace, along with current and historic airspace conditions, resulting in an unmatched predictive capability. There is no equivalent product on the market today.
