Jan. 15, 2010

STAMFORD, Conn., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PSSR) announced today that Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA-TAC) has contracted for an additional PASSUR airport solution designed to deliver operational efficiency, safety and cost effectiveness for key airport users. PASSUR OPSnet is a family of web-based solutions that includes Field Condition Reporting with eNOTAM integration. SEA-TAC has relied on other PASSUR solutions since 2006.

"PASSUR OPSnet will allow us to prepare for and shape our economic rebound by optimizing our operational flexibility, strengthening our stakeholders' confidence, improving our situational awareness, and accelerating our decision-making and execution," said Mike Ehl, Director of Aviation Operations, Port of Seattle, which owns and operates Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. David Crowner, Senior Manager, Aviation Operations, Port of Seattle, added, "I am particularly excited about this system. Its deployment provides us with another information-sharing layer to allow for better, timelier decision-making and threat mitigation. This solution will provide us and our operational partners with the critical 'common operating picture' that is essential to safe and efficient operations."

"Seattle joins a growing group of airports which have chosen to link themselves to an international community of users who demand the most complete, timely and accurate information available," said Jim Barry, President and CEO of PASSUR Aerospace. "The effect of this unique set of information available for each airport, accessed and interacted upon by all the key aviation constituencies, is an unprecedented level of coordination in critical areas of decision-making, with a major financial and customer service impact."

PASSUR Airport Operations Solutions

Airports are being asked to provide more cost-effective, efficient, and safe airfield operations for carriers, to help them achieve greater throughput, quicker turns and fewer ground delays - critical elements of airline profitability in today's challenging environment. The PASSUR Airport Operations Program provides to airport ramp tower, operations and communication centers the alerts, decision support, planning and analysis tools they need to run a more efficient and safe operation, and the web platform for cost-effective communication, coordination and collaboration with all the airport's key constituencies. It includes modules for field condition reporting/eNOTAM integration; mitigation of DOT extended tarmac delays; live dashboards of key operations metrics; and flight and airspace visualization. A recent study on the financial impact of the Field Condition Report module alone shows annual savings to carriers, per airport, ranging from $1.1 MM (small airports), $4.3 MM (medium airports), and $12 MM (large airports). A study of PASSUR Airport Ramp Tower solutions shows additional annual savings to carriers, per airport, ranging from $2.3 MM (small airports), $4 MM (medium airports), and $6.8 MM (large airports).
