Hawker Beechcraft begins deliveries to Iraqi Air Force

Feb. 2--WICHITA -- Hawker Beechcraft has delivered four Beechcraft T-6A military trainers to the Iraqi Air Force, part of a 15-aircraft order awarded last fall.

The contract represents a government-to-government agreement between Iraq and the United States, Hawker said in a news release

The remainder of the T-6A aircraft will be delivered this year.

Hawker said the contract also includes ground-based training systems, spares, contract logistics support, maintenance, post-production support and technical publications.
