Jacobs Awarded Contract from City of Killeen, TX

PASADENA, Calif., March 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the City of Killeen, Texas to provide professional services for the Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport and Robert Gray Army Airfield.

Officials did not disclose terms of the contract.

As part of the agreement, Jacobs will provide professional services for FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Grant and PFC (Passenger Facility Charge) funded projects at the Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport and Robert Gray Army Airfield for a period of up to five years to support various infrastructure-expansion initiatives. Services will include airport planning, engineering, design, information technology system design, construction management, environmental, financial planning, and other related professional services.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Robert M. Clement stated, "Jacobs has enjoyed a long-term relationship with The City of Killeen. We're pleased to be involved in their efforts as they grow both at the airport and in the community as a whole."

The City of Killeen is located in one of the fastest-growing economic corridors in the nation, 50 miles north of Austin, Texas and 115 miles south of Fort Worth, Texas. Killeen, with a population of approximately 112,000 people, is the home of Fort Hood, one of the United State's Army's largest military installations in the world.
