Allegiant Announces New, Nonstop Air Service Between South Bend and Phoenix-Mesa With Introductory $89.99* Fares

Limited Number of $19.99** Fares Available to/from Phoenix-Mesa!

SOUTH BEND, Ind., April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Allegiant Travel Company (Nasdaq: ALGT) and its subsidiary low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced new, nonstop jet service to Phoenix-Mesa, Ariz. from South Bend, Ind. will begin June 2. The company, known for its great travel deals, will offer the Michiana area fares as low as $89.99* one-way to Arizona. Today only, the airline is also offering an extremely limited number of fares as low as $19.99** one-way to/from Phoenix-Mesa.

The new flights will operate two times weekly between South Bend Regional Airport (SBN) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) with service Wednesday and Saturday. Beginning June 2, flights will depart South Bend at 3:30 p.m. arriving in Phoenix-Mesa at 4:10 p.m. Flights leaving Phoenix-Mesa will depart at 8:20 a.m. arriving in South Bend at 2:40 p.m. (all flight times are local). Allegiant Air offers nonstop service to three other vacation destinations: Las Vegas, Orlando, Fla. and the Tampa Bay, Fla. area.

The airline commented market research and input from local community leaders indicate the Michiana region will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Phoenix-Mesa. Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route.
