TSA Names Thomas Connors as Federal Security Director for MSP
MINNEAPOLIS, April 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has named Thomas Connors as Federal Security Director for Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

For the past 11 months, Connors has served as the Acting Federal Security Director for MSP, where he is responsible for providing day-to-day direction for federal airport security staff. He previously held the positions of Acting Deputy Federal Security Director, Assistant Federal Security Director for Screening, and Assistant Federal Security Director for Operations at MSP.
Before joining TSA, Connors served in the U.S. Army as an Armored Cavalry Officer and retired with the rank of Colonel. His assignments included command of Armored Cavalry units in the United States, Europe and Korea, and he served as the second in command of an Armored Task Force during combat operations in Desert Storm. He also was Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans & Exercises, responsible for managing national level crisis action planning for war and counter-terrorism in the Pacific Theater, and Inspector General for the Washington National Guard.
Connors earned a Bachelor Degree in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y., and a Master Degree in Military Arts and Science from the School of Advance Military Studies in Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
