Raytheon Awarded $88 Million Passenger Screening Equipment Services Contract

Company will deploy a range of technologies

RESTON, Va., April 12, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) was awarded an $88 million task order to install passenger checkpoint screening equipment at airports nationwide.

The task order was issued under the Transportation Security Administration's Security Equipment Integration Services contract. Raytheon will be responsible for installing equipment that includes a wide range of technologies. The contract began March 24 and ends March 23, 2011.
