May 24--Cessna Aircraft Co. announced its 2009 top suppliers, including five Wichita-area companies.
One Wichita supplier, O2 Corp., received Cessna's gold level for outstanding performance excellence.
The awards are part of a supplier tracking and rating system, called STARS, which is a supply chain management scorecard that measures direct material suppliers on quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
Besides O2 Corp., other top area suppliers include AMI Metals, Lee Air, Omni Aerospace and Wolfe Machine.
