TEB RECEIVES BALCHEN-POST SNOW REMOVAL AWARD

The 2009-2010 Balchen-Post Award in the Large General Aviation category was presented by the Northeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) to Teterboro Airport at the 44th. International Snow Symposium in April. Airports in various categories are recognized at the annual event for outstanding achievement in snow and ice control during the season. Airport Maintenance Manager David Polino of AvPORTS, the firm that manages airport services at TEB, accepted the award on behalf of the airport’s snow crew.

AvPORTS provides complete airport management services at the airport, which include airport operations, maintenance, accounting, and administration. Located in Teterboro. New Jersey, Teterboro Airport is one of the busiest general aviation reliever airports in the USA.
