-- Aug. 20--Dallas police arrested a carjacking suspect Thursday afternoon after an hourlong chase that wound through Dallas highways and side streets -- and ended at a Dallas Love Field runway. The mostly slow-speed chase ended...

"I think the officers did an outstanding job," he said.

Browne was taken to a local hospital complaining of chest pains.

He may also be charged with violations of federal law for breaking onto the airport and interfering with interstate flights as well as with counts of aggravated robbery and any charges that grow out of the chase itself.

FBI spokesman Special Agent Mark White said an agent assigned to the airport will present a case to the U.S. attorney's office.

"Federal prosecutors will discuss it with the district attorney," White said. They will consider how many state charges are pending against the defendant and other factors.

Dallas detectives will work with Fort Worth police and other departments to determine how many offenses Browne may have committed over the last several weeks.
