Global Aviation Holdings Names Brian Gillman as General Counsel

Global Aviation Holdings Inc. is the parent company of North American Airlines and World Airways.

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga., Jan. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Aviation Holdings has named Brian S. Gillman as Senior Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective Feb. 7.

"Brian is a well respected General Counsel with extensive industry knowledge. We are fortunate to have been able to recruit him as a key member of our executive team," said Chairman and CEO Rob Binns. "Brian's broad legal background includes international business as well as commercial transactions, regulatory and labor relations experience."

Mr. Gillman served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Mesa Air Group, Inc., since 2001, and prior to that, he was Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Vanguard Airlines for five years.  He started his career as a corporate attorney with Stinson, Mag & Fizzell in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Gillman holds a J.D. degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Missouri and Arizona Bar Associations.

Global Aviation Holdings Inc., based in Peachtree City, Ga., is the parent company of North American Airlines and World Airways.  North American Airlines, founded in 1989 and based in Jamaica, N.Y., operates passenger charter flights using B757-200ER and B767-300ER aircraft.  World Airways, founded in 1948 and based in Peachtree City, Ga., operates cargo and passenger charter flights using B747-400 and MD-11 aircraft.
