Chromalloy Announces New Capabilities, Jobs at Atlanta, GA, Area Turbine Engine Repair Center

ORANGEBURG, N.Y., July 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Chromalloy announced today that it will expand its Newnan, Ga., operation and work force, adding gas turbine engine service capabilities and up to 125 jobs at the site.

The company's Newnan facility, in operation since 1990, offers turbine engine component advanced repairs and coatings.  The 131,000 square foot operation serves customers around the world, including the operators of commercial aircraft engines as well as industrial gas turbine power systems.

Chromalloy will add new capabilities in its existing facility, building new Lean manufacturing lines to service additional turbine power systems.
