Seamless connecting service in Fort Lauderdale will be available to Nassau, Bahamas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  JetBlue has served LAX travelers since 2009, where most seasons the carrier also offers four coast-to-coast flights daily to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and convenient twice daily service to Boston.  Even more options are available to customers from Burbank and Long Beach airports.

With this shift in Fort Lauderdale service from Long Beach to LAX, JetBlue's Long Beach schedule will be reinforced with a fourth and fifth daily nonstop flight to Las Vegas starting Feb. 3 and new direct service to Anchorage, Alaska beginning May 23, 2011.  From Long Beach Airport, JetBlue offers 30 daily flights to Austin, Texas; Boston; Chicago (O'Hare); New York (JFK); Portland, Ore.; Salt Lake City; Seattle; and Washington (Dulles), as well as frequent intra-California service to Oakland, Sacramento and San Francisco.
