PR Newswire

FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for the summer travel season, American Eagle Airlines will add a fifth round trip flight between Moline's Quad City International Airport and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. The service will run from June 9 through Nov. 16, 2011, using 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.

"This new seasonal service offers Quad Cities residents even more travel options to Chicago, with convenient connections throughout American's global network," said Gary Foss, Vice President – Marketing and Planning for American's regional network. "We think this seasonal service is a perfect complement to our four existing daily flights."

"I was very excited to see a fourth flight added in April to Chicago but never in my wildest dreams did I expect a fifth flight to be added for the summer," said Bruce E. Carter, Director of Aviation – Quad City International Airport. "This shows that American Airlines is committed to this market and has a tremendous opportunity to expand in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois."
