Air Canada reports 9.1% rise in traffic for January

The airline recorded greater traffic in all markets, led by a 28.8% increase over the Pacific, president and CEO Calin Rovinescu said.

Air Canada's system load factor for the month rose 0.5 percentage points to 78.0%, from 77.5% in January 2010.

The monthly traffic results of Air Canada are reported on a system-wide basis, including regional airlines from which Air Canada purchases capacity.
