138 Houston Airport System Workers Laid Off
HOUSTON --
More than 100 workers in the Houston Airport System are being laid off.
Airport officials said 138 workers are being cut Wednesday and Thursday. The workers include dozens of airport security officers at Bush Intercontinental Airport, Hobby Airport and Ellington Field.
A source told KPRC Local 2 Investigates that Houston police will not step in to replace airport security officers who are being laid off.
