LANDMARK AVIATION BEGINS OPERATIONS AT MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (MIA)

June 16, 2011

Landmark Aviation, which earlier this year was awarded a ten year lease to be the new FBO services provider at Miami International Airport, began operations on Friday, June 11th. “We have been looking forward to being a part of the Miami International Airport and Miami-Dade County community,” said Dan Bucaro, President & CEO of Landmark Aviation. “MIA is a key market for our customers, and a great addition to our network. We appreciate the trust that the Miami-Dade Aviation Department has put in us, and are committed to providing exceptional service and uncompromising safety and security for our customers at MIA.”

Landmark Aviation’s FBO at Miami International Airport will be another of the company’s “Landmark Cares” facilities that supports charitable efforts in the local community. For every gallon of fuel sold at the FBO in Miami, Landmark will make a donation to local non-profit and charitable organizations. Landmark anticipates that the program could generate over $1 million in donations to the Miami-Dade County community over the duration of its lease.

We will immediately begin capital improvement projects to upgrade the facility and will be looking to hire additional employees from the local community as part of our efforts to continue to provide exceptional service,” added Mr. Bucaro. “Landmark is committed to and excited about being a strong partner to the Airport and local community.”
