Setting The Record Straight On Part 135 Audits
NATA Vice President of Government and Industry Affairs Eric R. Byer addresses a recent "Open Letter" issued by Joe Moeggenberg from ARGUS about his perspective on the one industry audit standard for Part 135. Below is an excerpt from the blog post:
I returned from vacation this week to a number of emails from members regarding a recent "Open Letter" issued by Joe Moeggenberg from ARGUS about his perspective on the one industry audit standard for Part 135 and asking for my thoughts. The letter was informative and gave some good insight on Mr. Moeggenberg's position on this volatile topic. However, the letter is flawed at its very core as it dives into the issue of an audit standard for so-called business aviation. I feel that the importance of setting the record straight on this necessitates providing my response in an open format as well.
