Condor Launches Seattle-Frankfurt Service

KELSTERBACH, Germany, Dec. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Condor Airlines today announced it will start nonstop service between Seattle and Frankfurt, Germany with twice-weekly flights beginning June 23, 2011. The newly launched service will give business and leisure travelers alike in the Pacific Northwest the opportunity to travel to Europe in a three-class cabin onboard a B767 aircraft. The flights operating on Mondays and Thursdays to Frankfurt, Germany will offer convenient connections to many destinations in Europe either with Condor or one of their trusted airline partners.

"Condor is delighted to offer non-stop service from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. As a partner of Alaska Airlines, Condor will provide many connections options from the Pacific Northwest as well as the West Coast," said Janet Gorecki-Mackanin, Condor Sales and Marketing Manager, North America.

"We are excited to welcome Condor Airlines to Sea-Tac," said Mark Reis, managing director of Sea-Tac Airport. "The addition of this service is another testament to the continuing success of international carriers in our region. The business and leisure passenger will benefit from yet another choice out of Sea-Tac airport."

Condor's long-haul fleet consists of Boeing 767-300 ER with recently added winglets to aid in reduction of fuel consumption as well as noise emissions. Three classes of service are available with a configuration of 18 Comfort Class, 35 Premium Economy class and 217 Economy seats. Comfort Class seats have a seat pitch of 49" (125 cm) and Premium Economy of 37" (94cm). An additional benefit for travelers is that flights flown on Condor are eligible for mileage accrual in the Lufthansa Miles and More Program, which Condor participates in.
