We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Aircraft Maintenance 145 Repair Station who will be responsible to position the corporate aircraft maintenance department at Fontainebleau Aviation for success. This position reports to the General Manager and has the responsibility to lead, coach and mentor direct reports to consistently deliver excellence in their undertaking in all maintenance, modifications and conversion activities. Develop business goals with short timeframes and execute a well-developed Aircraft maintenance plan. Establish and maintain records as required by FARs, manufacturers and Company policy. Secure quotes for outside maintenance, retrofits, cabin interior work, paint jobs. Ensure the facilities are kept to the highest standards of safety, compliant at all times, enforcing regulations and practices. Ensure training and other development initiatives are reviewed, organized and in place to support all maintenance activities. Manage the profit and loss statement of Repair Station.
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience required in Part 145 Repair Station Corporate Aircraft Maintenance. Five years’ experience in a leadership role. Current A&P License and Training Certificates required. Candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and management. Demonstrate ability to have high sense of urgency and be results-oriented. Be able to multi-task, work in a fast pace environment and be an effective decision maker. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
