Wichita, KS—July, 2016—GlobalParts.aero will continue to offer a free GC-024 or GC-012 charger with Gill 7000 Lt Batteries pre-ordered for the upcoming Experimental Air-craft Association’s AirVenture, July 25-31 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Gill, general aviation's leading producers of lead-acid batteries, selected GlobalParts.aero, the Augusta, Kansas-based aviation parts supplier and manufacturer to serve as an official distributor for its full line of batteries and chargers in April and announced the special charger offer would be good through the month of May. It will now apply to batteries ordered for pick-up at the annual EAA AirVenture at GlobalParts.aero’s Main Aircraft Display, Booth #175.

For decades, Gill batteries have been installed as original equipment on airframes man-ufactured by a dominant number of the industry’s Original Equipment Manufacturers. The Gill 7000 Series of Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid batteries currently combine optimal power, fast recharge and superior life to a broad range of models from light single en-gine pistons to turbine transport class aircraft.

“EAA is an ideal occasion for direct customer interaction and a very practical opportunity for them to shorten the delivery time for their new battery by picking it up from us at Oshkosh. Since we’re uniquely equipped to transport inventory and have it co-located with us at our booth at EAA, we decided we’d encourage Gill battery customers to come and see us personally by extending this promotional opportunity, too, “ said Brad Vieux, GlobalParts.aero’s Vice President of Business Development & International Relations.

“The latest additions to the Gill product line, the 7000 series batteries and chargers, are market leaders. The Gill products are ideal for us to handle at GlobalParts.aero. They are versatile, durable, dependable and feature the best shelf life of all the lead-acid products available and they also have the best discharge and recharge efficiency among valve-regulated lead-acid batteries and they’re FAA, PMA, UL, and CE* ap-proved. They have up to two years of storage life so we can maintain appropriate in-ventory levels at our worldwide locations and respond quickly and efficiently to customer requirements anywhere in the world,”Vieux concluded.

Gill Batteries have been the choice of most of general aviation’s airframe manufacturers as original equipment power sources for their aircraft for decades because of their out-standing life spans, high starting power, lower acquisition and maintenance costs and fast recharge times. Gill 7000 Series batteries are TSO (Technical Standards Order) au-thorized and engineered to be lightweight and reliable.

Gill’s line of fully automatic GC-024 Chargers are lightweight with a high strength alu-minum case. Charge status is displayed via three LEDs: Power On, Charging and Fully Charged. The chargers are equipped with 6 foot power cords and 4 foot charge cords with ring terminals. Gill also provides batteries for ground power carts.
