MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Aerospace Products International, Inc. ("API"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Aviation Services Inc., (Nasdaq: FAVS) and the leading provider of innovative distribution and supply chain services for the aviation industry, announces an exclusive distribution agreement with Stahlwille Tools North America.

API will distribute Stahlwille tools throughout the aerospace industry and serve as Stahlwille's exclusive distribution partner within the corporate aviation and fixed base operator (FBO) market segments in North America. The agreement capitalizes on API's industry leading services, including 24x7 customer support and overnight shipping available through midnight Eastern Time, to boost Stahlwille's presence in the aerospace tool, calibration, and tool control sectors in North America. API will also utilize the agreement to expand its offerings to the general aviation, military and helicopter markets.

Stahlwille tools offer the highest quality products to aerospace technicians. Stahlwille's standard product is considered "special product" in other manufacturers' catalogs. Stahlwille controls the entire production process from steel manufacturing, to machining, hot, cold, or inductive forging (depending on application), finishing and chroming in Germany. Stahlwille tools are lifetime warranted and have been designed with specific aerospace application, function, and durability in mind.

Stahlwille tools serve in the most demanding environments with a proven track record. From USAF and NATO AMU 24x7 line work to the hot section back shops of major global airlines & militaries, Stahlwille tools are all about performance, function, longevity, and operational up-time.

In addition to the tool offerings, API will also offer the Intelligent Tool Control system (ITC) box. The patented ITC box is designed with digital optical sensors that allow a technician to check out tools, without scanning, from their box to use on specific jobs. Upon completion of the job the toolbox will inform the technician if an item is missing. This toolbox technology can drastically reduce the risk of Foreign Object Damage ("FOD"), provide traceability, and can help companies determine which tools need to be utilized for various repair jobs. Together with API’s ESP inventory and procurement management tool, API and Stahlwille can offer a compete supply chain solution designed to minimize process costs and aircraft downtime.

API offers worldwide customer service 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year (+1.888.API.24x7 (888.274.2497) or +1.901.365.3470 extension 2171) through strategically located distribution centers in the USA, Canada, China, Philippines and Europe.
