In a recent purchasing study conduct by Ground Support Worldwide, industry insiders shared what they believed was the single most important factor in equipment and contract services purchases.

In a recent purchasing study conduct by Ground Support Worldwide, industry insiders shared what they believed was the single most important factor in equipment and contract services purchases.

The most popular response was quality. In fact, more than 35 percent of those surveyed feel a quality piece of equipment or reliable contract services is key when making a purchase.

Price and the relationship with manufacturer/distributor/supplier were also important to decision-makers in charge of purchasing. Price was the most important factor for 20.98 percent of those surveyed and another 20 percent focused on the relationship side of the business.

Availability was also critical, with approximately 10 percent of those surveyed identifying it as the most important factor.

Other key factors included the age of equipment, brand name, warranty and financing/leasing options.
