The 2023 International GSE Expo was a memorable one.

All of us at Ground Support Worldwide and Endeavor Business Media hope that those of you who could join us benefited from your time at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and we’re appreciative of the outstanding cooperation we received from our partners at the International Airport Equipment Manufacturers Association (IAEMA) as we put together this year’s show.

With the biennial event being two years in the making, the event itself always comes and goes more quickly than we would like.

But despite how fast time passed, we were able to experience three days of networking, showcasing equipment and working together to solve the industry’s biggest challenges.

If you were unable to join us last month in Las Vegas, I hope you were able to follow the excitement from your computer. Our editorial team shared big announcements, conducted interviews and shot product demonstration videos and shared them on AviationPros.com, on social media, through our AviationPros Podcast and in our eNewsletters.

If you missed all of that, don’t worry. We’ve housed all of our GSE Expo coverage in one convenient location. Simply visit our International GSE Expo eGuide at www.AviationPros.com/magazine/49526. There you will find all the news from the show, including our inaugural Ground Support Team of the Year winner.

We’re thrilled Menzies Aviation representatives traveled from Tampa International Airport to accept the honor in person and help us launch Ground Support Worldwide’s prestigious accolade designed to recognize and celebrate excellence in the aviation industry.

While sustainability, telematics, automation and other themes were prevalent, what stood out the most as we visited booths indoors and out, was the passion this industry has for innovation. Ground support operations may get overlooked or even go unnoticed by the flying public. But the people committed to this industry know how important ground handling is to the aviation industry.

The dedication to improving the industry was on full display and should be a source of pride for all involved.
