Following the acquisition of Star Handling earlier in the year, this acquisition continues Skytanking’s service expansion into ground handling, passenger services, deicing, cargo handling and related aviation services.

Skytanking UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc., has acquired the entire shareholding of Dalcross Group (Dalcross Handling Aberdeen Ltd, Dalcross Handling Ltd, Dalcross Logistics Ltd and The Highland Jet Centre).

Following the acquisition of Star Handling earlier in the year, this acquisition continues Skytanking’s service expansion into ground handling, passenger services, deicing, cargo handling and related aviation services.

“We are excited to continue to expand our ground handling footprint and diversify our service offering,” Amir Ibrahim, EVP for Skytanking, explained. “This acquisition will allow us to expand into two new markets and leverage the impressive ground handling experience of the entire Dalcross team.”

Dalcross provides ground handling, deicing, lav and water services, transportation, fuel services, catering, cargo, baggage and freight forwarding services at Aberdeen and Inverness airports. In addition, the company operates Highland Jet Centre Limited which provides private jet refueling at Inverness airport. Skytanking provides a full range of aviation services including ground handling, passenger services, cargo handling, deicing, into-plane fueling, aviation fuel storage, hydrant management and engineering support. PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Skytanking’s parent company, is an aviation services provider with operations throughout North America, supporting its customers with a wide range of services including ground handling, cargo handling, deicing, GSE maintenance, fueling and passenger services.

Dalcross will continue to operate under its current brand during the integration process but will ultimately operate under the Skytanking brand. Highland Jet Centre will continue operating under its current brand at this time.
