Hactl has been commended as a “QF Gold Star Employer” by the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (QF), which was established in 2008. QF aims to promote and support lifelong learning to enhance the quality, professionalism and competitiveness of Hong Kong’s workforce. Hactl’s gold star status was granted because it fulfilled all three awards criteria — making it one of only four award-winning companies to do so.
The three criteria include having made good use of the QF tools and mechanisms in developing Specifications of Competency Standards-based courses, to enhance employees’ professional abilities; encouraging them to obtain the Recognition of Prior Learning qualifications based on their accumulated work experience and competences; and applying QF-recognized qualifications in human resources development and management to enhance the company’s overall competitiveness.
