Reed Joins Mac Air Group

June 2, 2016

Pat Reed has joined the staff of MAC Air Group in Portland, Maine, to lead the launch of a new shared ownership program.

QJet Shares will be offering the opportunity to purchase a share of six Hawker 1000 aircraft. Ownership of each aircraft will have a maximum of six owners, either individuals or corporations. QJets will be mainly operated in MAC’s Southern Exposure area, which extends along the Eastern Seaboard from Maine to Florida, though owners will have the option to travel outside of that primary area.

Reed brings extensive experience and knowledge in the aviation industry ranging from launching new aircraft companies to being a part of already established companies such as Magellan Jets and Alpha Flying’s division known as PlaneSense. She will oversee sales and market exposure for QJets and develop collateral, marketing plans and opportunities for exposure of the aircraft to the greatest number of people.

Reed said, “Joining Maine Aviation and helping with the launch of QJet Shares is a great chance for me to apply my knowledge and experience in selling shares, whole aircraft, charter and jet cards and create a unique value proposition. The private aviation market is an incredibly well-informed group, and we have designed our product offering to address their specific needs and their expertise.

Those that buy into the Qjet program will experience a level of comfort, safety, security and personalization, along with extremely competitive pricing, that would be difficult for anyone else to match. We are here to provide the feel of aircraft ownership and the knowledge that our customers are as important to us as much as MAC will be important to them and their quality of life.  We encourage them to re-imagine Jet Ownership with QJet Shares.”

Company President Al Caruso explained that “Pat brings an extreme depth of knowledge and expertise into the field of aviation. Her enthusiasm and drive made her the perfect person to take on this program, and I can’t wait to see what she will be able to do with it.”
