Rectrix Aviation Names New General Manager at Sarasota Aerodrome

Rectrix Aviation announced Feb. 19, that the company has named Chris Mundy general manager of their Aerodrome Center at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (KSRQ).

As general manager for Rectrix at KSRQ, Mundy will be responsible for overseeing all Rectrix Aerodrome Center day-to-day operations associated with serving commercial, corporate and private aviation customers. This includes line operations, aircraft fueling and fuel sales, aircraft storage (short and long term hangar leases) and management of the facility. Mundy will also be responsible for the hiring and training of all line service technicians and customer service representatives.

Mundy comes to the new role after having been a line service technician at Rectrix, where he was responsible for essential company processes including aircraft refueling, towing and parking. He also fulfilled special requests for staff and clients as an airport liaison. Prior to Rectrix, Mundy worked in numerous roles including maintenance and line service positions at Delta Air Lines and Mercury Air Center. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and resides in the Bradenton, Fla., area.
