2024 Certified De-Icing Workshop

Aircraft are designed to fly with clean surfaces free of contaminants. During periods of cold weather, ice or snow can contaminate aircraft surfaces greatly reducing their effectiveness to maintain safe flight. Cleaning an aircraft of frozen contaminants is essential for safe flight and must be performed using proper techniques. NATA’s De/Anti-icing Workshop will cover areas such as fluid handling and testing, truck and boom operations, communications, hold over times, and application techniques.
