Roscoe Musselwhite Named President and Chief Executive Officer of AirLiance Materials

Musselwhite assumes responsibility for all aspects of operations, sales and sales support for the U.S. based, leading spare parts provider.

CHICAGO, IL, JAN. 12th, 2012 … Roscoe Musselwhite has been named President and CEO of AirLiance Materials, according to Wilken Bormann, Vice President Controlling and Subsidiaries of Lufthansa Technik (LHT). Mr. Musselwhite replaces outgoing CEO David Sisson, who officially retired at the end of the year.

In his new position as President and CEO, Mr. Musselwhite assumes responsibility for all aspects of operations, sales and sales support for the U.S. based, leading spare parts provider. AirLianceMaterials, the most recently acquired subsidiary of LHT, will continue to concentrate on building its international airline customer base while utilizing the increased resources available as an LHT subsidiary to offer more in-depth support to its over 1000 customers and to increase its operational scope, global reach and capabilities.

Mr. Musselwhite, who joined the company just four months after it opened its doors in 1998, played an invaluable role in developing the company’s customer-focused growth strategies and in bringing the benefits of the company to the air transport community. Both he and outgoing CEO David Sisson were integral to creating a company that went from inception to a position of industry leadership in under five years.

Prior to being named President and CEO, Mr. Musselwhite was Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. His management role has increased steadily over the company’s 14 year span, starting as VP of Marketing and Sales then as Executive Vice President in 2000. Prior to joining AirLiance, Mr. Musselwhite was Vice President of Marketing and Engineering at Dexter Tool, West Palm Beach, FL. Mr. Musselwhite’s distinguished career has also included management, technical and sales positions with Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engine Division of United Technologies Corporation.
