Westfield, MA (June 19, 2018)– Rectrix MRO, Inc., an FAA Part 145 Repair Station (CRS# QFYR349K) located at Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport (KBAF), recently completed a Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 Advanced upgrade installation for a customer’s Bombardier Challenger 300 with a flawless operational check flight following the aircraft’s release. The complex upgrade makes the aircraft compliant with upcoming U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) NextGen avionics requirements and updates the avionics suite to the latest technology available for that airframe. During the Proline 21 Advanced installation, Rectrix MRO also outfitted the aircraft with a new dual IFIS system, ADS-B Out, FANs 1A+ over Iridium Datalink, Remote Database dataloader, cabin refurbishment, and a 12/24/48 month inspection.

“This project, essentially the complete removal and installation of all new flight control, guidance, and communication systems demonstrates the technical expertise and breadth of capabilities available at Rectrix MRO,” said Kevin Bradley, Rectrix Vice President of Operations.

“With NextGen deadlines fast approaching, aircraft owners must take steps to prepare their older aircraft to meet the FAA requirements,” said Sherry Talbert, Rectrix MRO Director of Maintenance. “We were pleased to complete this work on time and within budget and are proud to say that the test flight went flawlessly with zero squawks, a true testament to the capabilities of the maintenance team.”
