Southern Museum of Flight Offering Summer Camp Scholarships

Birmingham, AL - May 16, 2018. The Southern Museum of Flight is seeking applicants for scholarships for one week of our Summer Camps. This unique and exciting opportunity will focus on inspiring students to explore and investigate STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) concepts through the exciting world of aviation! Our two camps, Scientific Explorers and Aviation Adventurers, will involve hands-on learning activities, real-world design scenarios, all while exploring physics, chemistry, engineering, and robotics.

Scholarship applications will be available beginning Friday May 18th on our website: http://www.southernmuseumofflight.org/summer-camp-2018/. Completed applications must be submitted to the Southern Museum of Flight or by email to [email protected] or [email protected]. The winners will be selected and notified by June 8th. Admission to the camp is on a rolling basis; a completed application does not guarantee a spot in the camp.

The Southern Museum of Flight is located in East Lake, two blocks from the Birmingham International Airport at 4343 73rd Street North, 35203.
