Machining Research Day at CCAM

Join Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing on Feb. 28 for Machining Research Day
The CCAM Machining Group invites you to participate in their annual research day. Topics to be covered include cutting strategy optimization, process modeling, machining of high performance alloys and composites, sensing technologies for process monitoring and in-situ tool wear monitoring, machining dynamics applications, and machining of additive components. Invited speakers represent industry, academic, and government experts from organizations including the AMRC, University of North Carolina Charlotte, EWI, and the Army. A panel discussion will be held to discuss current opportunities and challenges. This will be followed by a tour of CCAM's facility and a poster session. Lunch will be provided. The day will close with a networking reception. This event is free, but capacity is limited. Please register by February 23rd.
