MAEL is offering 20 apprenticeship positions for its summer 2014 intake. There will be practical on-site training, working alongside highly skilled mentors, who will pass on essential knowledge and experience.
MAEL's highly experienced engineering team will commence support services in the second quarter of 2014 with the first of four Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft entering into an initial short haul flying programme from London Gatwick.
The multimillion pound facility, which opened in November 2013, has already created 150 new jobs for the region, and this will increase shortly with the opening of 2014 applications for MAEL’s apprenticeship scheme.
