U.S. Air Force approved D-Zolve™ 15-33 LO Paint Stripper available from Solvent Kleene, Inc. is designed to safely remove several layers of aircraft paint. It efficiently removes epoxy primer with cross-linked polyurethane top coats including MIL P23377 Epoxy or TTP 2760 Flexible Polyurethane and MIL C85285 Polyurethane topcoat, Fluid Resistant BMS 10-11-V Type 1, BMS 10-60-H, BMS 10-7-9 and Desothane 6221T. It also removes topcoats with high solid content fluoride and other high solid content polyurethanes. D-Zolve fully conforms to Boeing D6-17487M and to T.O. 1-1-8 including sandwich corrosion tests, immersion corrosion tests, hydrogen embrittlement tests and more. D-Zolve can be safely used with aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, carbon steel, cadmium coated steel, and titanium. It contains no chlorinated components or other carcinogens. It has no hydrogen embrittling components, no peroxides, and is nonacidic. D-Zolve GL 15-33 exhibits a long active life and slow rate of evaporation and excellent clinging properties even on vertical surfaces and the undersides of wings and fuselage. It can be easily sprayed using an airless spraying system, or applied with a brush and smoothed out with a plastic spatula. D-Zolve GL 15-33 is also available for tank immersion stripping. Designed to minimize health and environmental risks, D-Zolve GL 15-33 is noncarcinogenic, nonflammable, nonacidic, and contains no chlorinated components. Developed as a safe alternative to methylene chloride, sodium hydroxide and other hazardous and/or traditional paint stripping methods, D-Zolve GL 15-33 LO-R from Solvent Kleene Inc. is designed to remove several layers of paint from aircraft where clinging to horizontal and vertical surfaces is essential. It dissolves the bond between paint and the surface, facilitating the removal of difficult to strip paints and coatings. Once the surface bond is broken, both the paint and the product are easily removed with a high-pressure water rinse. Additionally, it is slow to evaporate so it is able to keep the painted surface moist for several hours, requiring little or no reapplication. This product meets Boeing D6-17487D and Air Force T.O. 1-1-8. With no chlorinated components or other carcinogens, it offers minimal or no air pollution potential and no hydrogen embrittlement. It is nonflammable and not subject to any DOT restrictions or special labeling. It works at room temperature or can be heated. It is designed to be applied with a spray gun or brush and is also available for in-tank parts immersion stripping. It is available in 55-gallon drums and in a 5-gallon trial size.
D-Zolve 15-33 R is a high viscosity aircraft paint stripper and remover designed to serve as a safe replacement for hazardous methylene chloride-based strippers. D-Greeze 7880 degreaser/cleaner
Product From Solvent Kleene Inc.D-Greeze 7880, from Solvent Kleene Inc., is a VOC-free, nonalkaline industrial degreaser/cleaner that addresses the need for high performance, eco friendly products. It is biodegradable, nonflammable, noncorrosive, and nonreactive. A drop-in replacement for hazardous degreaser/cleaners, it's compatible with most existing degreasing methods and equipment, including immersion tanks, parts washers and spray wands. It has a neutral pH so it is suitable for use with all painted and unpainted ferrous and nonferrous metals; including aluminum, anodized aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, magnesium, zinc, titanium, and dichrome treated titanium as well as most non-metals. While many other cleaners must be heated to high temperatures, it's designed to perform at room temperature. Its low volatility causes little or no loss due to evaporation. This feature, combined with the ability to easily remove oil/grease contaminants, helps extend its useful life beyond than that of most conventional solvents. D-Greeze ES-150D available now from Solvent Kleene Inc. is a quick-acting, fast-drying non-hazardous degreaser/cleaner that cleans parts at ambient temperature. It is a cold cleaner which quickly evaporates from the surface after cleaning, eliminating the need for heating and drying equipment. It is ideally suited for degreasing/cleaning difficult-to-reach surfaces such as intricate part shapes and the inner surfaces of blind holes and tubes. It offers a unique combination of low surface tension and high KB value, enabling it to quickly penetrate narrow orifices and complex part geometries to dissolve soils.
