The new OmniScan MX2, a new
IPLEX LX and IPLEX LT industrial videoscopes
Product From Olympus NDTOlympus offers 10 meter long scopes for the lightweight IPLEX LX and IPLEX LT industrial videoscopes. With an effective length of 10 meters (32.8 feet) and a diameter of 8.5 mm, the scopes are ideally suited for applications that require visual testing of deep or difficult-to-reach areas. A wide range of interchangeable optical adaptors provides excellent magnification and direction while the LED lights at the scope tips deliver vivid illumination for easy detection of very small defects. Including the Lithium-ion battery and the long scope they weigh just 3.9 kg (9.0 pounds). The reason for this small size is that the LCD monitor is built into a main operating unit that is just 64 mm width (2.5 inches) excluding the handle. Epoch 600 ultrasonic flaw detector

The compact unit offers the choice to adjust parameters with a knob or with a navigation area on the keypad. It is designed to meet the requirements of EN12668-1 and allows a full range of standard and optional flaw detection features. Key standard flaw detection features include 400V PerfectSquare tunable square wave pulser, digital filtering for enhanced signal-to-noise ratio, single shot measurements at up to 2,000 Hz PRF, dynamic DAC/TVG, onboard DGS/AVG, and Echo-to-Echo measurements with gate tracking. Olympus offers a comprehensive inspection solution for laminate composite parts (CFRP) manufactured for the aerospace industry. The solution comprises the OmniScan MX Phased Array flaw detector with the 16:128 module, OmniScan MXU software, and a selection of specially designed curved linear phased array probes and immersion corner wedges. In addition, a Mini Wheel encoder allows time or distance based manual scanning.
The IPLEX LX and LT industrial videoscopes from Olympus provide accurate inspections and allow smooth operation regardless of the user's experience level. Industrial ultrasonic flaw detector system

The TCG curve (Time Corrected Gain) now allows up to 32 points, negative values, and combines a linear material attenuation function. An added immersion ruler simultaneously monitors the water column and its position in relation to the material. Additional features include a degree scale for scan axis, an external pace trig mode, increased digitalization frequency, and improved stability and performance. The Omniscan MX is a modular, portable, battery-operated instrument. Existing modules can drive ultrasonic phased array and conventional ultrasound as well as eddy current array. The OmniScan ECA configuration supports 32 sensor coils (up to 64 with an external multiplexer) working in bridge- or transmit-receive mode.
