6470 digital ground resistance tester

Product From AEMC Instruments

AEMC's digital ground resistance tester Model 6470 performs grounding resistance, earth coupling measurement, soil resistivity, and bonding tests. This direct reading tester measures from 0.01 to 99,000 ohms, and is auto-ranging, automatically seeking out the optimum measurement range test current and test frequency. The adjustable test frequency (either manual or automatic) from 40 to 513 Hz test voltage provides rejection of high levels of interference, allowing it to be used under difficult conditions such as the presence of high stray currents that normally affect accuracy. It is easy-to-use and accurate, simply connect the leads, select the test mode, press-to-measure, and read the results. Up to 512 test results can be stored in internal memory for later recall to the display or downloaded to a PC for analysis and hard copy reports with automatic fall of potential plots. The Model 6470 is overvoltage protected to greater than 250v AC with spikes of 3,000v AC or 1,000v DC against accidental connection to live circuits. The live voltage is also displayed on screen. Additional features of the Model 6470 include: a heavy-duty field case sealed against dust and water when closed; user selectable soil resistivity test method (Wenner or Schlumberger) with direct reading soil resistivity and user selectable two- or four-point bond resistance testing. The Model 6470 is powered by NiMH rechargeable batteries. For more information visit www.aemc.com or call (800) 343-1391.

OX 7104 -CK portable oscilloscope

Product From AEMC Instruments

AEMC™s NEW OX 7104-CK Oscilloscope is the first 12-bit four-isolated-channel 600V Cat III on the market with up to eight traces on the screen. This all-in-one portable and rugged hand-held instrument features five complementary tools: an Oscilloscope, FFT Analyzer, TRMS Multimeter, Harmonic Analyzer and a Recorder. The Model OX 7104-CK has both reporting and recording capilibilities with an 8000-count display. The four-channel high-speed digital recorder function has sample rates as fast as 800µs and recording times up to an entire month. For precise analyzing, the automatic measurements window displays up to 18 parameters of a signal. These measurements include: AC and DC voltage measurements, current measurements, resistance measurements and temperature measurements. The OX 7104-CK is the first in its category to offer sophisticated triggering functions that go beyond triggering on a front edge or on a pulse duration. The 33 specialized keys for common functions and a color LCD touch screen makes this instrument very user friendly. Using the convenient stylus, a variety of "Windows-like" menus can be opened or pulled down and executed. Ideal for field use, the Model OX 7104-CK utilizes the new Probix system of "plug and play" accessories, individual isolation of each of the measurement channels, and has a range of remote management capabilities based on an Ethernet link with the WEB server, a number of built-in instruments, including a four-channel TRMS multimeter. The Probix smart probes have user definable control buttons system that will assure using this instrument will not only be rapid but also, error free, which is critical of devices used in troubleshooting. Using battery or line voltage operated, this instrument is perfect for both laboratory and field-testing anywhere anytime. Prices start at $3,595. Several kits are available.
