The hydraulic portable lift from Rotary Lift offers flexibility and enhanced productivity for most maintenance activities performed on virtually any vehicle configuration. It's available with four or six columns with adjustable wheel forks, automatic synchronization and double safety systems. No installation is necessary and it can be used indoors or outside. They have a rated capacity of up to 90,000 lbs.
Floor-running pit lifts have caster wheels so technicians can roll them anywhere in the pit. These are a good choice for applications where there are several interconnected pits. The lifts can be rolled from pit to pit as needed, then stored when not in use. Pit lifts enable technicians working in the pits to raise trucks above ground level to perform maintenance and repair tasks that require the vehicle to be lifted, such as brake, wheel and transmission work. A single pit lift can raise a commercial truck. Lift capacity ranges from 30,000 to 44,000 pounds. Pit lifts are mobile and have been designed specifically to safely raise commercial vehicles positioned over a pit. They are widely used in Europe but are new to North America, where they are available only from Rotary Lift and its distributors. Adding a pit lift converts a pit into a full service bay that can be used for virtually any maintenance and repair task. This conversion costs about $10,000, which is far less than a new surface or inground lift.
Rotary Lift offers three new configurations of its family of heavy-duty pit lifts, with capacities ranging from 30,000 to 48,000 pounds. The three configurations are: suspended on rails at the top of the pit, free rolling on the pit floor, or rail mounted on the pit floor. Designed and built to withstand the toughest, most rigorous applications, the lifts can engage and raise the axle for wheel and hub service, or can be used to assist in the removal of the transmission or other heavy undercarriage components. The controls on all three models offer two raising speeds fast for positioning the lift and slower for the actual lifting. The lifts are also equipped with manual hydraulic handle (or foot pedal) for precision adjustments. The piston rod and pump piston are hard chrome-plated and a patented oil-submersion system bathes the cylinder in oil to protect it against corrosion.
SmartLift with Inbay Technology
Product From Rotary LiftRotary Lift has introduced a major enhancement to all their SmartLift models, the inbay. The inbay is a revolutionary onboard microprocessor-based technology that integrates electronic technology with the lift, increasing technician productivity, improving safety, and bringing more profitability to the shop. Features include: > Three inches of additional rise. > Liquid Detection System signals accumulation of water in the containment housing and alerts control panel. > Guide pistons increased to 8-5/8" for greater load stability. > The 9,000 and 12,000 pound lifts are interchangeable so they can be converted after installation.
