In August 2005, Meggitt PLC, the international aerospace, defense and electronics group, acquired UK-based Avery-Hardoll, joining its operations with Whittaker Controls in California and merging its fuelling capabilities into a new company, Meggitt Fuelling Products. Meggitt Fuelling Products is now a world leader in the development, production and installation of a wide array of ground fuelling products and services. The company is staffed by a large number of highly experienced sales, marketing and technical personnel who are located in the US, the UK and in Asia.
