McNaughton Dynamics Limited have developed a new “FTF Unit” aircraft tire inflating unit for low cost airlines. This innovative design provides large amounts of low pressure Nitrogen gas, from a liquid Nitrogen tank, for charging aircraft tires from their storage pressure of 30 psi / 2 bar to their operating pressure of 220 psi / 15 bar. “FTF Unit” is a self pressurising unit, designed to be very simple to operate and fills tires quickly without the potential hazards of cylinder trolleys.
