Its battery-powered Viscolite portable viscometer is easy to use — simply dip the probe into a fluid and take viscosity and/or temperature readings instantly. Wipe the sensor clean and it is immediately ready for re-use. Every viscometer is factory-calibrated using traceable international standards, so on-site calibration is not necessary. Supplied in a weather-resistant carrying-case, the Viscolite can give temperature-corrected readings to compensate for ambient conditions. Enclosure is sealed to IP65 (splashproof). Range from 0.1 to 10,000 cP (mPa·s), accuracy ±2 percent of reading. Sensor can be used in fluids at temperatures from –20 C to +120 C. Small-sample model needs only 10 ml (0.3 fl oz).
