Motorized Cable Reel Trolley

The Caddy 2x90kVA is a motorized cable reel trolley fitted with two cable reels. The drive unit is a 24 VDC motor which ensures the Caddy can drive in both reeling-in and reeling-out directions with a totally automatic reeling-out directions with a totally automatic reeling of the two cable reels. The cable necessary for the supply to the aircraft is stored in the drum-center hub which provides easy access when in operation. The design also allows for easy dismounting in case of maintenance or damage. Steering is done through a foldable steering arm which retracts automatically to a vertical position when released. With the steering arm in vertical position the unit can also be locked to protect against possible misuse. The Caddy 2x90 has a continuous autonomy of approximately 2 hours. a battery loading point is positioned at the Caddy parking bay. The Cavotec Connectors fitted on the Caddy give great flexibility for use at many different gates at the airport.

The Caddy 180kVA is a motorized cable reel trolley incorporating one 50Hz cable reel and an onboard 180kVA/400Hz converter. This unit is also driven by a 24 VDC motor which ensures motor-assisted driving in both reeling in and reeling out directions. The battery loader is mountedon the Caddy and loads the battery automatically when the main power cable is connected. The onboard cable reel is fully automatic reeling in and out.
