According to a news report from The Hill, a pilot was taken off a SkyWest Airlines fight Oct. 26, after officials suspected him of being under the influence of alcohol.
The report states Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Rapid City Regional Airport in Rapid City, S.D., said the pilot smelled of alcohol and notified local law enforcement. Investigators discovered the pilot's blood alcohol level was allegedly higher than the legal limit of 0.04.
