AMT: 2014 in Review

Dec. 17, 2014
Time flies when you’re having fun.

Another year has come and gone; hard to imagine it will soon be 2015. As I reflect on the past year’s successes with AMT Magazine, I felt compelled to highlight some of these efforts for our readers. Needless to say we’ve been as busy as you have been. In 2014 we’ve:

• Redesigned AMT Magazine with industry segments highlighted: Airline, Business Aviation, Commercial MRO, General Aviation, Military, and Rotorcraft

• Expanded international coverage of industry developments with articles from Europe, Russia and Turkey

• Expanded our involvement with industry associations like ARSA, ATEC, GAMA, AEA, and RAA including regular articles to keep you informed

• Kept in touch with industry through attendance at major shows like: HAI, NBAA Maintenance Managers Conference, MRO Americas, EAA AirVenture, RAA Convention, and NBAA Convention

And on the digital side of our business we’ve continued to enhance our offerings with:

• Redesign of AviationPros.com to keep industry informed and accessible through various mobile platforms

• Addition of channels on AviationPros so you can find what you’re interested in when you want: Aircraft (new aircraft, MRO projects), Engines & Components, and Tools & Equipment (the latest and greatest)

• Daily newsletter with maintenance related news divided into industry segments: Commercial and MRO, Military and Rotorcraft, Education and Training, Corporate and General Aviation

The major highlight of 2014 was the celebration of our heritage with the 25th anniversary issue. AMT Magazine is still and always will be dedicated to coverage of the entire aircraft maintenance industry. Have a wonderful holiday season.
