2014 Aerospace Maintenance Competition

Feb. 6, 2014
March 25th and 26th in Las Vegas

In 47 days the 2014 Aerospace Maintenance Competition (AMC) will kick off at AviationPros LIVE in Las Vegas. This two-day friendly competition brings together teams of certificated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and students enrolled in either FAA, EASA, CASA, or equivalently authorized schools as well as personnel of any country’s Armed Forces that are involved in the aircraft maintenance and spacecraft maintenance.

30 teams are registered. The competition is fierce and the prizes huge. The overall winning team will go home with the coveted Snap-on sponsored William F. “Bill” O'Brien Award, a traveling trophy recognizing excellence in aircraft maintenance.

One of the new teams is a school chapter for Association of Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM) from South Seattle Community College. This all female team will show the world aircraft maintenance is not just a profession for men.

Aircraft Maintenance Technology magazine and AMTSociety are among the many companies and organizations proud to lend support to the Aerospace Maintenance Competition.

The AMC will be held March 25th and 26th, 2014 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. For information on the AMC visit http://aerospacemaintenancecompetition.com/.
